One Year Later
At the residence, Laszlo is on the couching watching television, and admits it lulls him to sleep. He talks about the bestial Colin Robinson, and how it's been helping him rebuild the residence while he trains it in swordfighting, so it can become an interesting adult.
The baby dozes off on the couch next to Laszlo, and he goes to deal with the men from the gas company because there's a gas leak. The residence is filled with boxes that Nadja has been sending from Europe, and Nadja is outside instead of the gas company employees. The happy couple embrace, and Nadja tries to talk about her time with Supreme Vampire Council. She then slaps Laszlo and wants to see the baby, and before they go upstairs Nadja brings Nandor and Guillermo in. Laszlo is more interested in sex, and Nandor admits that he isn't much for warm welcome but he has missed Laszlo. Nandor then falls through the waterlogged floorboards.
Nandor tells the crew that he got as far as Fresno, met a family from Wisconsin on the train, and he grew homesick for his homeland in Al Quinidar, so he booked passage on a container ship. He drained all the crew, which crashed in the Suez Canal. Laszlo, who is busy on the nearby couch which Nadja, explain how he trained the baby so it won't be as dull as Colin.
Laszlo and Nadja's couch collapses, and Laszlo explains that the residence is falling apart. Nandor wish that Guillermo was there to take care of the place, and Nadja opens a crate to reveals Guillermo inside. Guillermo isn't happy that they shipped him across the Atlantic twice in a wooden crate, He then falls through the floor, and Nandor goes after him and brings him back up.
Guillermo figures he has to start looking out for himself, and asks Nandor for a glass of water. Nandor forgives Guillermo for leaving him at the station, even though it wasn't Guillermo's fault, and wants Guillermo to do something very important to him. Guillermo asks what it is, and Nandor asks him to be the best man at his wedding. Guillermo accepts, and asks who the bride is, and Nandor admits that he hasn't chosen yet, but figures that Guillermo will help him find a bride, hopefully before the end of the month. Baby Colin runs by, with a lit candle on his head, and Laszlo comes in after the baby while Nadja finds another raccoon in the residence.
Laszlo explains that Baby Colin has a candle on his head so he has light when he goes down to the dark basement and swims in the sewage. He tosses some cereal down for Baby Colin to eat, and Guillermo figures that he can't leave the baby in a death-trap filled with lunatic vampires. Guillermo babyproofs the house and figures he'll look after himself after he takes care of the baby and the wedding.
Nandor tells the others that they should take some steps to fixing the house, Along with Doll Nadja, they watch house flipping TV and figure they should get Bran and Toby to fix up the residence. Guillermo refuses to talk to Laszlo and Nadja because of the bad way they've treated him, Nadja, Laszlo, and Nandor share a laugh at Guillermo's expense and figure that now they're all friends again, and Nadja points out that they need money to fix up the residence. Nandor points out that Colin was in charge of paying the bills, and Guillermo runs over to keep Baby Colin from getting into more trouble. Laszlo points out that he has Colin's ATM card but not the pin number and Guillermo coaxes the number out of Baby Colin, who recites the numbers from the show he's watching on TV
Nadja suggest they open up a vampire nightclub, to make money. Nandor would rather rob Fort Knox. Nadja learned from her time on the Supreme Vampire Council that she really wants to open a vampire night club, but they weren't interested and that's when Nadja decided to quit the Council and come home.
Nandor and Guillermo go the local Supreme Vampire Council building, and Nandor admits to Guillermo that he didn't like going to his hometown, because everyone was a vampire so there was nothing special about being a vampire. Laszlo and Nadja go with them, and the Guide is there waiting for the last year for them to come back. Nadja tells the Guide that they're opening a vampire nightclub.
