Matt and Colleen arranged a basic jungle resort in Yucatan (Mexico) to celebrate John and Joan's fiftieth anniversary with the family, who all find it a creepy horror, run by a listless man whose wife just left him. So they sneak off to the nearby luxury resort, discover Matt slurping daiquiris and start partying on Colleen's credit card. Tyler coaches Sofia to handle their over-protective mother's annoying bonding need, but when John finds out everyone defected the tables are turned.
